Apartment Review for Oakwood - Los Angeles, CA

This complex has been bought out and since then, they've replaced the washers/dryers and carpeting. When they show interested people, they show the other side of the complex, the cleaner and nicer side. The jacuzzi by our apartment has been broken for nearly 3 months now and hasn't been drained. It looks like a swamp. It was recommended to drain these kind of things in this neighborhood. 2 years ago there was a small outbreak of West Nile in the general area. Also the past week, the fire alarm has gone off 3 times. Once at 4am, I was told by neighbors that it went off another time and once last night at 11pm, which I was just informed by neighbors that Management didn't know anything about this. Of course we couldn't sleep after these false alarms and I'm sure the neighbors didn't either. I know that every apartment complex has the good, the bad and the ugly, but things have been pretty ugly here for awhile and tend to get worse.
