Don't rent here unless you like SEWAGE in your

The week I moved in, the 'maintenance' guy had to come snake the toilet and 'fix' the kitchen faucet, which actually seperated and shot water to the ceiling the 2nd time I went to use it, the first time it was just leaking which is why the 'maintenance' guy was sent.... Then no hot water during Winter, and a 3 month ordeal for them to repipe the Bldg. in Spring so we could have Hot Water for Summer!!! 'Maintenance' managed to slice up the lino in 2 places in the bathroom, and one in the kitchen while they were 'repiping' as well as breaking 3 tiles on the outside of the shower and just leaving them on the floor. Showed David the manager, and he said he would have 'maintenance' come and fix them...these idiots picked up the broken pieces they had left on the floor and glued them back together. Had to get David again, to get the tiles REPLACED. Then discovered they cracked the toilet tank breaking the tiles... Kithen sink constantly burps and backflows from upstairs and next door because these people are dangerously CLUELESS about plumbing--FIRST thing they did was come to snake the line with a HAND power snake, cable to short to even reach the main line and blade too small to clean the pipe walls. I kicked them out. Then got lectured that it's their job, they know what they're doing, if I don't let them work, then I'm responsible if apt. floods. Ok, send in the clowns! The clowns decided the reason MY sink burps and backfills when the neighbors use THEIR sinks and disposals, is because I need a NEW disposal, yeah sure, go ahead. Solved nothing of course because that wasn't the problem!!! Problem was still there last week 4/7/09 when I moved. SEWAGE in the tub! Yep. A month ago, new neighbors moved in next door and trouble in their tub, filling with sewage. The moron dept. couldn't clear it with their little hand snake (no surprise there) and began using a 'blowbag' to try and clear the line. Lucky I was home and heard MY tub start to fill up with, you guessed it, SEWAGE! Ran to the door and told these clowns to turn off the water, you're going to FLOOD my apt.---no they don't have enough sense to make sure they are not filling up a common line. DANGEREOUSLY INEPT. Of course, the week before I moved out, MY tub starts filling with SEWAGE AT 10:50pm, wound up calling the Fire Dept. to shut the water off since I couldn't get either mgr. Next day I have David go inspect it and he says 'it's draining now, there is no problem, I'm not going to have a plumber snake the line just because YOU want me to, it's normal apt. living so you have to clean it up yourself'...I have to clean up your plumbing disaster because you have idiots doing your plumbing work?!! Line was never snaked in the week before I left, so if you get MY apt., as one of the many vacancies from people flying out of there, you can expect SEWAGE flowing up into your kitchen sink, AND now, your bathtub!!! ASK FOR a city inspection if you're still considering moving into this or any Scott Properties Bldg.
