Fantastic place to call home

The building is any average los angeles apartment building except that there's always a fresh coat of paint on walls, doors and security gates, the grounds are groomed weekly, and any maintenance issue is resolved almost immediately. Like any complex, there have been occasional garage break-ins, and each time, the manager has taken steps to advance security. Overall, I feel completely safe in my building. The manager is the -best- and knows everyone by name. He's polite and professional and genuinely cares for his long term residents. Another great thing about the building: the residents are long term, and to me, that speaks volumes as to the quality of the building. People like staying there. The residents are generally friendly and courteous and keep to themselves. The rooftop pool and spa are kept in excellent condition and have a great view of downtown and santa monica. Occasional weekend rooftop parties get a little noisy - but it's an eclectic building and if someone complains, the noise mellows out.
