rent should be lower for what its worth

This is our 4th Manager of the Bldg, and I have been here a year come November 09. Thank goodness my lease is up. I haven't had too much of a problem, first and foremost PARKING is horribly awful. You can pay an extra 75$ for a parking spot but why pay when its on the next street? I would pay extra if it were underground and safe not in a fenced dirt lot. Security is well 1. there is no security, you have a secured entrance door which doesn't seem like it is secure enough, but overall the community is ok for security minus the one incident where someone was being shady and following me while i was walking my dog and wanted to pull over to "ask me a question". The Tenants are very quiet and keep to themselves, i have made maybe 2 acquaintances in this bldg in the whole year i've been here. I have a studio and the kitchen is really large for its size, almost as if they should have cut it in half and could have given more space for a seperate bedroom. When i first moved in i had 2 black widows by my kitchen window, 1 dead 1 i killed with my spray. I would suggest constantly spraying every month or so to make sure nothing comes inside. Lately there have been a lot of silverfish and i am not sure why, they don't do harm obviously but its disgusting seeing them on my wall or crawling along the floor and believe me those suckers are fast to kill!! The last month there has been some incidents where my neighbor had found a big rat in his kitchen and it all of a sudden disappeared. Today i started to cook in the broiler and had this feeling to check it, and what do you know? There is a skeleton of a rat in the corner and it seemed to look like its been in there for awhile, EWWW!!! and i have been cooking in it!! I am surprised i havent gotten sick. Maintenance does their job when need be and is always on time, so no problem there. Oh and make sure to keep the back screen door in the hallway closed or else come nighttime theres millions of mosquitos that come in and attack you. Now the property itself, PEOPLE PICK UP YOUR DOG SHIT!!! the place is filthy, no one ever cleans up there dog mess they just leave it there in the dirt on the grass and even on the sidewalk and you see it smeared because someone else stepped in it before you did!! it wreaks of urine and shit. Oh and the apartment itself needs new laundry dryers because it eats your dollars like its no ones business and still your items stay wet, minus the 1 NEW dryer the 4 old ones SUCK. Management is good, these ones seem like they'd be here for awhile, very nice and friendly. Had an incident though where i had to climb through my neighbors small window, jump over a huge ditch between and climb into mine because they wouldn't help me open my door one night, but other than that its ok. Overall i think that the price should be less than 900 for a studio with the street and Now RAT problem. ( :
